Lisa D. Stanford, Ph.D., ABPP/CN is the Director of the Pediatric Neuropsychology Program and the Clinical Training Director of the Clinical Neuropsychology Residency Program. She is also the Director of the Center for Cognitive Medicine's Center for Learning and Neurodevelopment, where she sees patients with Dr. Carol Macmillan for diagnostic evaluations and works closely with Dr. John Sweeney to develop sophisticated neurocognitive studies to investigate the genetic aspects of Autism Spectrum Disorders using functional and structural MRI.

Dr. Stanford is an Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatry with years of experience directing Pediatric Neuropsychology clinical and training programs. She has published, taught, and conducted research on the neurobehavioral aspects and cognitive effects of Learning Disabilities, ADHD, Autism, Traumatic Brain Injury, Lead Poisoning, Congenital Hydrocephalus, and Pediatric Epilepsy.

She is involved in educational and clinical practice issues at the national level through her work on the Practice Advisory Committee of the American Psychological Association's Division of Clinical Neuropsychology and as a member of University of Illinois Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Committee.
