The Center for Cognitive Medicine supports a wide range of
educational activities. Center faculty train graduate students,
medical students, physicians in training and postdoctoral fellows
across several departments within the University, and through the
interdepartmental Neuroscience program. Clinical psychology
graduate students come from across the city for year-long
externships in adult and pediatric clinical neuropsychology.
Medical students and residents do clinical and research rotations
with Center faculty. Postdoctoral training is provided in
clinical neuropsychology and in research laboratories
of Center faculty. The Center organizes several weekly seminars
open to the professional community in the form of journal clubs,
ongoing review of fMRI image processing and statistical
methodology, ongoing review of new findings from Center investigators,
and a Behavioral Neuroscience lecture series focusing on clinical
brain disorders, new treatment development, and case presentations.
